    Frequently asked questions

    What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Cursor connect to outside tools and data. Iceberg over MCP means your assistant can search the contract market, watch your renewals, qualify tenders and map decision-makers directly, in your own chat, with no separate app to learn.

How does Iceberg know my market?

Your market (your TAM) is set up in a short conversation with your assistant when you connect: you describe what you chase, Iceberg builds the market and shows you what it found, and you refine it in chat. Adjust it any time your focus shifts. There is no setup call and nothing to configure outside the chat.

How does it help with the bid itself?

Your assistant does the writing; Iceberg gives it the evidence. For any tender it can pull the incumbent and their history, recent winners and prices, how that agency procures, and the language of the agency's own tender documents, alongside your stored content library, your style rules and your record of past bids. The response is drafted from facts, in your voice.

How many people can use it?

As many as you like. The license is per organisation, not per seat. Connect it to every teammate's assistant and to your own agents, under one fair-use allowance.

    How is it metered?

By a fair-use allowance on research volume, not by person. Everyday searching, browsing your market and checking renewals are effectively unlimited. If your organisation approaches the ceiling, Iceberg tells you first, and nothing is charged automatically.

What's the difference between monthly and annual?

The same plan either way: $200 a month, or $2,000 a year (two months free), both ex GST. You can switch cadence from your billing settings; changes take effect at the end of your current period.

How does the free two weeks work?

You enter your card when you sign up, and the first 14 days are free. If Iceberg isn't for you, cancel from your billing settings before the two weeks are up and you won't be charged anything. If you stay, your subscription starts automatically on day 15. If you cancel later, your data (your market, your network, your content) is preserved for 30 days so you can pick up where you left off.
